Well picked up the LE2 heads today and going to be turning in my heads in return for Intake porting.

You always see just the H/C LE package or even AI package

How much do you gain from a ported Intake from a stock untouched intake on a H/C car.

Just curious

I can't imagine a huge gain, but every horse counts right?

Maybe 7-10 at the top end.

Lloyd didn't quote a specific gain (and I wouldn't expect him to)
He did say that he removes a few lbs of aluminum though, which means more volume for high RPM.
He had a pretty impressive list of places that he worked on if you ask him privately,
I don't think I've ever seen the details posted in a thread.

Here's a pic of the first intake he did for me in 07.
He reworked it for me last year and made some improvements, I wish I had taken the time to take pics of that too.

AI actually recommended AGAINST me porting my stock intake because the gains are slim to none since the stocker flows so well.

Having said that, I had it ported anyway. Whether it's helping or hurting I'll never really know.

I made 430rwhp with a stock intake on my current setup so I don't see it being a big restriction. I actually lost 6rwhp with my old ported LE intake which is why I sold it for a stocker when I bought the Ai heads.

truthfully they say that you only need to port them if your making over 550hp or so. Especially if you have boost or lots of spray

^Yes, but it doesn't cost much to fully port the intake(LT1). Mind as well have it done, imo. Ask Lloyd for more info.
