Default Koni adjustable part please help

So we installed the koni adjustables yesterday front and rears. Once we got done we realized there was a washer looking part in the box left over... anybody know where this goes? Its about 3 inches in diameter and about 1/8 inch thick with a small whole in the middle..... I think thats the best way to descibe it.Please let me know if youll have an idea on where that goes... thank you

It goes above the front shock in between the shock and the shock mount. You shouldn't have had only one leftover since there is supposed to be one for each front shock.

If you search "koni washer" there are some pictures.

Just for reference, if it is the washer I am thinking about it is 54mm OD, 10.4mm ID.

The only pitfall I can think of with that is the top nuts are nylon lock nuts right? I don't know how well they will work taking them off and putting them back on.

Im not to certain. I would say they are not because the are same ones i used from the stock shock. So with that being said they were taking off when the first set of springs were put on and then i removed them and put them back on again. ....

Ya im pretty sure. The parts seem like they come with the least amount of new bolts and nuts. They make u re use most of your stock stuff

It should have come with an upper nut though, not any of the lower bolts. I was trying to remember if it was nylon locking nut or not and I am pretty sure that it is. I didn't think that the Koni even took the same nut as stock...

A lot of people have to cut the OEM nuts anyway so it would be crappy if you were supposed to reuse them.

At any rate, I think the Koni takes an M10x1.5 top nut so if you need another one you can try to find a nyloc in that size, or a regular one and use a lock washer.

They take something like a 17mm wrench or socket, but they are M10x1.5 because nuts are listed based on the thread size, not what wrench they take.
