Default I need info on a Low profile sheet metal Intake

Need info on a Scoggin-Dickey ls7 low profile intake.

Scoggin-Dickey intake link
This intake was in the high-tech GM and it said that it responds well to boost.

Nice.. I wonder how it would work on a mild/stock ls7 n/a build.

I saw this also and thought I wish they'd make that for a cathedral port motor. I don't think it would work well on anything other than boost with those short runners.

I think it would look better than the ls6 intake.

I don't think SDPC has released them yet, I maybe wrong.

At first I thought these would be for Cathedral port heads, but now that I see it's for LS7 heads, I could care less....that is unless they really are going to make one for cath. port guys. I'm tired of getting the shaft on all these new intakes!!!

I wouldn't worry too much. Every intake that has come out in the past 3 years has been solely advertised on being for ls3/l92 heads since they are the new thing. Too bad for us cathedral port guys that are still stuck in the dark ages right...

It's interesting looking. I wonder how it would do with a procharger feeding it.

if there is enough interest i can talk to my fabricator that is a very reputable intake builder and see if he wants to start making some sheet metal intakes for our cars
seeing as there would need to be a ton of r&d and dyno testing we would need a decent # of ppl for a preorder/group buy deal though

Asking, will it work on a boosted setup really isn't enough info to answer the question. We talking turbo, centri or roots? Cubes? Max effort? Street or Strip? Desired RPM range? There are lots of factors. I would say that for a street/strip turbo mild setup with a <7.5K RPM redline (like mine), it would slow me down.
