Default Considering purchasing Strano's Bars: SWAY ME!

I'm close to purchasing a set of these but really limited on funds as my head/cam package has taken on some unexpected expenses. So, those with Strano's bars, how are you liking them?

My current suspension setup:

4/3 Koni shocks
Strano Springs
UMI Single Adj. Rod/Roto Panhard bar
UMI Single Adj. Rod/Roto LCA's
LCA Relocation Bracket
UMI Tubular 2 pt. Subframe Connectors

I just put a set on my car 2 weeks ago and I must say that they make a bigger difference that I thought that they would. With all the suspension mods in my sig I should have done these alot earlier in my suspension setup

I had the same suspension mods you do, minus the SFC's, when I put on Sams bars. IMO it made a big difference. There's a few turns that I use for "testing" purposes. Since obviously the turn never changes I use speed and stability of the car to judge if it makes any difference or not.

I wish I would have done them earlier too. It is also nice it comes will all new hardware.

Mr. Batmobile:

Considering you're already set up with Strano springs and quality UMI components I'm sure a call to Sam for bars would be the right thing to do. He will know how to make your car fast and balanced.

And the almighty dollar speaks again. Screw how the stuff works, right? Sheeh.

There are two folks that sell my bars (because I want it that way) Strano Peformance Parts, and UMI. Not even sure UMI has them on their site since they do their own solid ones now (hint to UMI)....

Soooo, anyway he can try and shop around for the "best prices" on my bars, but it'll be a waste of time. Furthermore I carry bars that cost less if that's the goal, but I'd hope and think that having the best parts would be the goal. Considering my bars are $369.98/set, and light, that's not a bad deal. I took a bar to a guy this weekend who was swapping it in for a solid front. The look on his face when he picked up the box (box, hardware and all) was priceless because it was so much lighter than the solid bar he has currently.

But Sam, yours don't come in red :/, sorry I had to poke the bear!! But, it does bring up a question, do you plan on offering different color powdercoating options? I mean I'm already buying your stuff, but I'll be hurt if I order my stuff and next week you offer red. . .

No plans for other colors. The more colors, the more things I have to stock, and the more money it costs. Considering the whining that many like to do about $5, I never really wanted the hassle. You can paint them whatever color you like though.

I put the Strano bars on last year to compliment my other suspension mods including his springs and it made a huge difference. It's fun to toy around with my buddy and his 350z on the back roads leaving him wonder

You wont regret putting them on

the only downfall ive noticed, is traction got a bit wrose, but that just means i need a sticky tire in the rear.

I already ordered them like 2 weeks ago. I called asking if it was possible to receive them before the weekend as I was planning on getting them on and sure enough, it came in pretty darn fast. Unfortunately, the way it's looking with my schedule, I might have to put them on during the spring. I ordered the 35 front/ adjustable 22.

When I bought my Camaro (late 2006), the very first aftermarket part I ever bought for it was a 35mm hollow Strano bar. I enjoy it just as much now, as I did back when I first installed it. You won't regret it.

I took my friend for a ride in my car after I got all the suspension stuff done, springs/shocks/bars/watts. Took a corner that's banked and almost 90 degrees about 40-45mph. His words were, "Holy ****."

That about sums it up.
