Default Turbo build

So I am planning on building a budget turbo on my for-now stock LS1, running low boost until I get forged internals and 317 heads.

I would like to build a twin turbo, and I was thinking of using twin Holset hx35 turbos. Do you think the stock displacement is enough, or will their be significant turbo lag?
Also, I have read that buying the hx35w and bypassing the wastegate is a possible option, as it has a 12cm housing, vs 16 for the non-wastegate.

Is this feasible?

This is going to be on an 04 GTO. I will be using C6 corvette manifolds as well.

What type of car and what turbo kit?

Any internal motor work like a cam?

What are you asking exactly? Will it work, how much power will it make? etc?

It's in a 04 GTO. Stock engine internals. I am still deciding between the 243 ported heads I have, or 317 heads.
My question is if it will work well for a street car, as in not having terrible turbo lag, or if they're too small and will run out of steam quickly.

Really can't say without knowing which turbo kit it is and more about those turbos. Your housings, piping, and turbo placement are going to determine if it will lag or run out of steam.

Is this a system you are building? Have you built a turbo system before?

That's the turbo I've been looking at.

And I haven't built a turbo system before, this is my first time. But I'm going to only tack everything up, then have a shop weld it up.

I hope you have had some lessons in fluid dynamics and physics, building a turbo kit is not easy.

I'd never put those turbos on my car either.

Anyone have any experience with twin turbos using those?
How about the ON3 turbos?
