ws6 or SS help
as of right now i have two f bodies sitting in the driveway. i turn 16 in 10 days.
both are cleaner than a whistle. the drawbacks to both being they are both a4's The 01 ss has been mine for two weeks. it is a non slp car bone stock. navy blue with gm 10 spoke wheels. the car only has 24,000 miles on it. slight piston slap as is expected in some ls1's. Interior is near perfect. i believe tcs is standard on these model years
if i keep this car i plan on putting cme and and slp grille and leaving the car stock other than slp air lid.
The 98 ws6 is red but is not bone stock. of course the interior is slightly nicer for the age. but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. the car has 70,000 miles on it, and no real performance mods other than air sensors and lid along with electronic cutoffs. the interior is immaculately clean. the car has a torque arm and stabilizer bars the 98 is equipped with tcs which is a good thing for me.
I wish i could post pictures of these cars to you guys but they are both as stock looking and as clean as they get. both are some of the nicest f bodies i have seen around. and im not just saying that because they are mine.
any opinions on each car is appreciated greatly

No, traction control (called ASR [Acceleration Slip Regulation] by Chevy) was a $450 option for Camaro in 2001. It was not part of the SS package.
What exactly are you looking for? Do you need to sell one of the cars? If you already have them both, why do you need to choose one?
If it were me, and I had to pick one, I'd pick the SS. I had a red WS6 many years ago, and I am over that phase now.

I see two ways to look at it. 1, the SS is low miles and stock so BIG plus there. 2, you can kep which ever one you like the looks of more... I myself would pick the WS6 on that point

lol. correct, correct, and more correct. i should have stated what i meant by non slp more clearly. however, thanks for the enlightenment of the asr. and yes i have to sell one and keep the other. im leaning on the ss just because the car has lower miles and the car is a different level of clean.
Thanks for the info on the build number im gonna call and get mine
Lol. whys that? ive dreamed of having a 4th gen f-body since i was seven. particulary an ss but ive always found ws6's good looking

Because people tend to be hard on their first car, crash them, abuse them, etc. Etc. you will see, I was 17 and drove a 86 z28,, I used to jump rr tracks, and pull the ebrake at 40 mph and spin around,,these are just a few examples OF MANY,,of what a 17 yo male will do in a performance car,,and dont say "I would never" CAUSE WE ALL KNOW BETTER.

As it happens, the SS is much lower mileage and (as you stated) "a different level of clean".
Seems like a no brainer to me.

We can't really decide this for you as it is mostly a personal preference. I'm partial to the WS6, but would have a hard time letting go of an SS that is stock with that low mileage. If you plan on modding it I'd go with the WS6. If you want to keep it stock and mint go with the SS. IMO

Aren't **** anymore? Uhhh....I'm pretty sure a 01 ss with 26k miles in good condition is worth about $15-16k and a 98 WS6 with 70k miles in good condition is worth about $12k....I know when I was 16 I had a $2500 Jeep lol, maybe you come from a rich family that could afford to buy you a brand new BMW or something when you were 16 idk.....
