Are 241 and 243 head valves interchangeable?
Like the title states I have a set of bare 243 heads and a set of complete 241 heads, can I use the valves from the 241 heads in the 243 heads? I know they are the same sizes 2.00" intake and 1.55" exhaust, but are the angles the same? I plan on having a valve job done on the 243 heads anyway, just trying to save some money if I can.

I've been wondering the same thing, but with swapping valves from a set of 317's to 799's. They (799, 317, 241, and 243) are all listed with the same valve size, but that is the measurement at the head of the valve. I wonder what the valve lengths are, and the valve stem diameters???

I just compared mine today as a matter of fact. I have a stock set of 241 and a set of Z06 243s. The valves in my Z06 243s are the sodium filled/hollow valves and are of course lighter, but the only visual difference I could see on them is the top of the valve stem is longer. I am talking about the part above where the locks go on. This to me accounts for the little bit longer valve in the 243s, but otherwise they are the same size. Hope this helps and is not too confusing.

I need all the info i can, U should school me a bit, I've read before that lift doesn't play a part in ptov clearance, then I've read that the right length pushrods need to be used then then that duration/lsa come into play.

on ls1 engines, push-rods adjust mostly lifter pre-load.
length of valves affect wipe pattern by rockers, so rocker stand might need shimming to center the wipe again.
