ive looked at the aeromotives, and the new 400's and everything i find is in tank.

I'm surprised there isn't more interest in this, but I see
very few external fuel pumps that can run at 4 bar head.
Aeromotive makes one but it's like $399 and reputed to
be super noisy.
If you could stand to run 3 bar fuel pressure then you
could parallel as many Ford pumps as you liked... but then
you'd need even more injector.
If twin pumps can't supply your fuel, you might need more
attention to the forward plumbing (diameter). Especially
if your regulation is still back by the tank, how do you
know the relative contributions to overall pressure fade?

i run base 43 psi, have dual 255's which have been told many times that is good to around 800hp
im thinking about going e85 and would like to keep a pump like the walbro's but ill just do one of the magnafuel pumps for my 2nd pump if theres no other external pumps like the 340's or higher

Sounds like similiar situation, sorry for slight hijack.
I was about to post but done a search first....
I am running a TT with E85 should make 850rwhp.
I have -
fuel cell
then XXX
into 4L surge tank
then 4303 Magnafuel pump to 1/2" line to indy whites.
The XXX is my missing pump. As stated by all everythings in-tank or $300+ for an inline.
From cell to surge tanks what size pump will do and hold enough fuel for this combo.
Then what pump would be recommended, must be E85.

Well you haven't stated your flow requirements, so I've no idea if a single pump will do you. And I've no idea of your main tank design to determine whether an external swirl tank is required

Installation of a external fuel pump
Can someone please explain to me if my fuel pump fails in my tank can you install an external fuel pump without removing the in tank
my next question
if the in tank fuel pump is still working but is showing weakness can you explain to me if I leave the internal fuel pump in my tank and just install an external fuel pump can that be ok
