G5X3 Dyno results help!
I just got the car dyno tuned at a Speed Inc. the car is an A4 with cats and full exhaust it has the following on it:
Kooks 1 3/4 and Corsa
S3 TB
ASP Pulley
Tsp lid
Electric water pump
78mm LSX
G5X3 on a 114 LSA
valvetrain upgrade
YTP4200
3.73 gear
FTRA
The car made 375HP/374TQ unlocked
Is that good? What's the difference between a locked converter and unlocked? Thanks.

No kiddin? You think it's good for what it is?
My best pass was 12.04 @114 before the follwing:
Bogarts with M&H cheater slicks, cam and valvetrain, LSX and about 100lbs of weight has been removed. I'll be somewhere in the 11s. We'll see how deep she goes. Thanks guys.

Nice numbers John, how does it run now that it's tuned, etc? I don't know what the hell people mean when they say locked and unlocked, how do you do each with an auto? I am a 6 speed guy and have no clue about how the A4 works. Get to the track and see what it does!!

How the heck are you guys getting 25 RWHP from locking the TC? I'm on my third different TC and only get 10-15 at best. Those are good numbers for a cam only car though. Lose the CAT's, add a cut out, and lock the TC will probably get you that 400+ though IMO..

That's about what I pulled unlocked w/my small cam and heads. Our converters are nearly the same. Your car should go about 119-120 MPH.
My lock up clutch slips under full load. I couldn't even do any tuning due to the RPMs being so far off. The dyno indicated 7400 and my rev limiter is at 6700.

Well, I picked it up after being tuned and damn. I've never laughed that hard in a long time. I felt like a little kid again. I'm going to shed another 120 lbs, save up for some AFR heads, and hunt a 10 second timeslip. The car pulls forever, I ran out of room on the highway. Ha! Thanks guys. Oh, do you think a cutout would be beneficial in my case, I really don't want to ditch the cats because the car sounds GREAT!
