First start with 383 stroker.
I started my car up today for the first time with the new motor. I love it already and i haven't even got to drive it. It cranked right up first try. And man it sounds good. I went with a Comp Cams XE-R 238/242 on a 112LSA. The lift is my secret It goes on the dyno tomorrow morning so i'll post some numbers for you guys tomorrow and i'll be taking the video and i'll try to get it on here sometime next week. I need to make a sig with my mods but this is what i have. Direct flow air lid,slp 85mm MAF,slp smooth bellows, home ported stock TB with bump stop mod, stock LS-1 intake(I know i know i'm working on the LS-6 intake) , Comp Cam listed above,Comp pushrods,Titanium retainers, Comp R lifters,Comp 918 springs,Stock Heads,Mac mid length headers with the big welds gringed down,H-pipe with two bullets turned down at axle,TB by-pass, !AIR, !EGR, Free Air mod, !A/C, SLP ported oil pump, and of course the Eagle 383 stroker kit.
I'm sooo happy with it so far. Hope it puts down good numbers. This is my first car i've had a motor built in. The car is a 99' SS M6 by the way. I'll get those numbers on here tomorrow hopefully. And might i just say that when the car cranked up i went Sorry had to make a post i'm kinda excited here. Anyways thanks for listening to me ramble on.

ok lift is actually .609/.614. i had someone build it for me. after parts and all labor and TUNE it came to $6300. So i don't guess that's to bad. Should go on DYNO Monday. I'll get numbers and vid on here next week. I'm sooo happy with it so far.

you mentione stock heads, are you planning to go with some ported heads in the future, you might not get the power you expect from stock heads on a 383.
also, the comp 918 springs are good for about .600 lift, i would recommend some dual valve springs for this much lift if you want it to be safe.
good luck with it and make sure to post the video too..

Congrats on the stroker!!
I would personally swap out the 918's though for some double springs good to 650 lift. A broken 918 could be disaster for a motor. Those lobes spec out at .605/.610 so you got a little extra lift from Comp
Let us know what the numbers are, good luck!!
