Who drives in the rain?
O.K guys here the issue. I drive my car back and fourth to work everyday. Lately its been raining a lot and my car has been running like crap. It seems that I'm having some fueling issues dealing with the O2's. When I scanned it B1S1 was pegged out at 11.3mv. What's causing this? Does anybody know? I've checked all the wiring it all looks good I even wrapped my O2 extentions to keep them from getting wet and still I'm having the same problems. Does anybody have a clue about whats going on here.

My car is a daily driver, so it sees all sorts of weather and it does not have any problems.

Do I need to get rid of them?

The hesitation and sputtering makes you think that its in the plugs, but its not.

This is an interesting issue. Is it suggested to use di-electrical grease when installing o2 extensions? I'm about to install headers in a few weeks and will definitely do so if thats the case, my t/a is my only mode of transportation.

How about another theroy. Long Tube headers transfer heat much better than stock manifolds. Now throw some water on them.... exhaust gas temperatures go down and effectively put the o2's to sleep? A logging scanner is what you need. I have LT's and its a daily driver. No issues with driving in the rain. Fairly fresh o2's up front, and brand new Bosh units in the rear.

GM has another defect.
Take your intake manifold off. You will find your rear knock sensor is swimming in water from the rain.
Replace the sensor and silicone the wire plug to the valley cover.....
Your car will run fine in the rain now...
