02 WS6 need a flexplate upgrade with convertor? I've started looking into the convertor upgrade again since spring is here. I saw a couple of threads here recently where a person claimed the 01/02 had weak flexplates and to replace it with the TCI one or one off a 98. I did a search but didn't really find much information. Is this true and which one would you chose? Where to get a 98 flexplate?

I did the swap because I had seen several postings
about cracks on our model years, they didn't seem
to be restricted to high-HP cars, and I was ready to
do the converter swap at the time. If you're going
to have the tranny off you might as well just do it.
I got a virgin '98 from valvegod at a good price.
