SDPC, they have one that has a cam but is a base long block, no peripherals.
You can always sell the cam, it is in high demand.

$2699 + 1400 (heads) + $129 (pump) + $110 (Chain) + $100 (Gaskets) + $ 200 (assembly) + sending them the covers, cam, p-rods + seals.
You do the math, it will be very close.

It is up to him, really. But yeah, it could be a better choice.

Ok, back track.
Now we are down to a shortblock with cam installed and degreed.
So TSP $2699 + $100 for cam install and degreeing.
Or Lingenfelter $2095 shortblock (exchange) + send cam and get it installed.
Or just get a shorblock and do the rest yourself.

Take a look at the forged 346 from SDPC:

*LS1/LS6 block
*New stock GM crank
*Scat 6.100 forged I beam rods
*Speed Pro forged flat top pistons
*Plasma moly file fit rings
*Clevite rod & main bearings
*Durabond cam bearings

**Rotating assembly is balanced and assembled in block. Also included is a metal stand and shipping crate to protect your investment.

$2,789.00 + freight

I can also offer you any of the other parts you will need at a discounted price when you purchase our short block!!
