If you still have the twins, best place would be on the plenum. Damn thing is huge. Or if you can fit it right between the "y" on the pipe going to the intercoolers. As long as its before the MAF you're ok.

Are you using the regular Mondo bypass valve or the recirculating one? For a MAF car you need the recirculating one.

I thought if its before the MAF you can vent to atmosphere cause its not metered air yet.

Mount before the MAF between the throttle body and intercoolers. Preferrably as close to the plenum as possible. (it has the most surface area)
Remember that your engine is now cruising on unfiltered air so try not to suck in the hoodliner material.

I thought you would want to place it after the head unit and before the intercoolers to prevent extra heat and stress on the intercoolers.

I had the twins and a Vortec Mondo before going with the front mount. I put the Bypass on the driver side before the plenum. I cut out a piece of hose and welded the mount on to a piece of pipe. It fit pretty nice on the driver side, I had the opening facing down and it wasn't recirculating. I never had any problems with it.
