Default 205 AFR 222-222 Cam Results

Had heads-cam-verter done a year ago, and just added some Kooks and a catted y, so fiqured I would post up the results now with the addition of headers.

398 rwhp - 381 rwtq

My combo:
205 AFR Heads (out of box), 222-222 .581 - .581 115.5 LSA XE-R Cam, 2800 Vig Converter, Kooks 1 3/4" inch Headers (coated), 3" catted coated y-pipe (fabbed by Speed Inc), Whisper Lid, GMMG Catback.

So what do you all think? Good, bad, somewhere in between?
Car has good driveability and like the sound now with the headers

Is that converter locked or unlocked? Either way, good looking dyno numbers.

yeah man really good numbers. you throw in a pulley, and ported tb, and maybe a fast 90/90.. damn those will be big #'s for an auto.. now people know its not so hard to push 400rwhp in an auto..

Great numbers for an auto and a cam that small... What size chambers are those AFRs and what head gaskets did you use???

That is a very nice, square power band. Congrats.
Take it to the track ASAP.

On the cam... Usual 4* of advance? Where did you install it? -Thanks.

AFR heads out of box with the 66cc chambers
Just a Felpro LS1 headgasket (compression should be stock)
As far as cam installed with advance, I don't think so, but I would have to check with our sponser, Speed Inc, who has done all of the work/tuning on this car.

That is a nice looking graph. nice flat torque curve and a good peak HP for a street car.

Is that a custom spec cam or off the shelf? Been looking for a setup like that.

It's not so much the size of the cam but a great match/combination of parts. I haven't had my car dynoed yet and I hope mine will make close to what yours did.

Do have an under-drive pulley??? If not... AND you were looking for a little more, Get the pulley and ported TB and see 12-14 rwhp... Still want more? Mill your heads .018 to 63cc chambers and use a .045 Cometic gasket. This will raise you DCR to 8.53 and your static to 11.05, worth another 8-10 rwhp. I am assuming your cam is +2 advance and your pistons are .007 out of the hole...

Maybe 25rwhp more for all the above, on a good tune...
