Default squeakin door hinge

damn driver side door is squeakin like a **** when i open and close it. remedy?

Put alot of grease on it. It's not a permanent fix but it helps a lot.
Mine usually starts squeking and popping in the summer.

I just use a spray lubricant(ex. wd-40) it seems to work for about 4-5 months before u have to do it again.

I just fixed mine. Loaded it with 3in1 oil. Kinda embarassing gettin out of a bad *** car and havin the door squeek to hell.

I think we are all plagued with the squeaking doors, mine tends to sag at times as well, and needs adjusted. I just spray it down with WD-40 and it's fine for a couple of months. Kinda one of those normal problems like the squeaky hatch you fix with Electrical Tape.

WD-40 did nothing for me. I need to grease the crap out of it.

The best lubricant for door hinges is red spray grease.It goes in thin like an oil but then solidifies.The can's actually show a door on them..it's an application engineered door grease etc.(think berkebile 2+2 makes some as well as others)oil,s are to light under the weight and last minimally.Hope this helps.

WD-40 only works a few days with me. I spray mine down with silicone. It seems to work awhile longer.
