Default TRak cam only dyno

This is for HOSS (Ben). Dynoed his car the other night and he is too lazy to open the evaluation program to post himself haha.

400/380 (6 speed car)

TRak cam
LS6 intake
Half *** ported TB which was fixed today lol
the worst possible exhaust routing in the history of the LS1 haha
Headers/ORY
Stock heads at 10:1 CR

The first dyno runs were kinda weak. Tried some new things with the timing and didnt change it out before the run, by the time we (Alvin and I) were done messing with the timing it ended up 0.5* off the initial timing table we had before we tried pulling timing (at peak power).

Hopefully the finished port job, cutout, UD pulley will get the car up into the 410-415 range and get the torque near 390. Either way its a great cam, we will see what a set of AFR heads and FAST intake will do here soon hopefully, right Ben

Nice numbers, especially considering you've left so much power on the table. Big thumbs up. What kind of timing did the cam-only setup like?

We'll see. That house closed tonight, so I got the money. Hawaii is weighing on me pretty heavy though. May go ahead and do the FAST 90/90 and see where that gets me too!

just wish i didnt make it out there so late so we could have started with the better timing table and play with some more stuff, may have helped to let it cool off between the runs too lol

The rear section of the exhaust has been this way since I have had the car. It has like 4 90 deg. bends in it. On a good note though, it sounds ******* wicked, and I don't want to change it. So thats why I am contemplating a cutout, to bypass that and actually see how much it is hurting me.

Ah, well a cutout wouldnt hurt thats for sure. Possibly dual cutouts in the y-pipe. I did that on my old H/C setup on my SS back in 2003 and picked up 13rwhp peak and about 9rw across the board vs. them capped on my catted 2.5in mac y-pipe.
BTW, LOVE UR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does this cam come with 2* of advance? Was it installed as ground or what did you all end up doing here?
Thanks.
