EGR HELP!
Ok so I cut the EGR about a 3 weeks ago, now the Brass Heil-coil has broken loose from the maifold, WTF do I do now?? Set off my service engine soon light, makes a noise let air beling let out of a tire. installuniversity said to be careful of this, thought I was but I guss I messed it up. just get rid of the whole egr system.
You dont need it anyway.
Just block off hole in manifold and in exaust manifolds...I think slp sells a kit.

What you have is a vaccuum leak. Your car probably idles poorly now. My EGR didn't seal properly for a few mins and it did the same thing. It can be replaced I believe. Anyone have the part # or info how to replace it?

How 'bout.... for the time being, just epoxy the brass thread insert back in with some JB Weld or similar?
You don't want that vacuum leak.... you'll run lean, it's "unmetered" air.
