11.75 SCR and 8.65 DCR on 94 octane in Summer triple digit heat. TR6 and .040 quench
No issues.
The SCR is not as relative as the DCR. Also proper plugs and quench will go a long way to facilitate high SCR combos.

Now I know typically a larger cube engine will usuallyhave a bigger cam in it, which usually drops DCR. This is why you can see such high SCRs in big cube motors.
Is the drivability strictly dictated by DCR, or do the added cubes play into it? For instance would a 346 and a 402 run equally well if they were both cammed for 8.5 DCR? Assuming that heads are scaled accordingly and all else is equal.
