I'm guessing you have the turn downs? Sounds like you're running rich.

Run your duals over the axle and out the rear from beneath the bumper in the stock location. That will stop that exhaust smell inside the car as well as that roar and drone that goes along with dual that dump under the car. With your duals going over the axle and out the rear, you will probably enjoy your dual exhaust system.

It's better to run rich (safe) than lean(holes in piston) but you'll lose HP rich.

Longtubes move your front o2 sensors further downstream in the exhaust system. The factory o2's have a hard time staying hot after the move, making them inaccurate. They are reading a false lean condition and are dumping fuel, causing you to run rich. You aren't hurting anything by any means, but you should have your car tuned for the LT's. If you plan on any other future mods (heads, cam etc) just wait on the tune until you add the bigger mods.

I notice it somewhat, I wouldn't say it's unbearable... but I've had !cats on damn near every car I've owned, maybe my body is fucked up Running rich is good TO A POINT, too rich and you'll wash the cylinders, which is rather unpleasant. Get a tune, you should notice improvements!

Also, what mods did it originally come with? Stock tuning will turn a little richer with LTs... I'd imagine that the tune, no matter what mods came with it, was just a little leaner across the board, making the impact of LTs somewhat less. I'd say you're safe (only one way to find out tho IMO, get 'er to a dyno).

CO2 output is the same pretty much, whether you
have cats or not. CO2 and H2O are all that's
"supposed" to come out. What stings your nose
is mostly the nitrogen oxides and what stank, is
the hydrocarbons.

Dumping out the back is like pissing in the shower.
Dumping under the car is like pissing in the bathtub.
