Cams going to be good with the afr springs, I'm gonna port my ls1 oil pump.
Do I really need all the gaskets in the TSP Cam swap kit?
Which ones do I defiently need?
TR6's will be good for my 11:1 CR

Head gaskets are a deffient, front seal and water pump gaskets are good to get to. Also, the fast 90 needs different bolts than your stock intake. I'm assuming those came with the intake?

Cam specs are 230/232 114lsa
I was going to start yesterday, even though my heads don't come till next week.
My Dad wouldn't let me though, he said I wouldn't remember how to put it all back together if something happened to my heads.

1) I would get a new oil pump.
2) Oil pump to pick-up o-ring.

3) If you're pulling the heads go ahead and get new lifters, $99 @ SDPC

I would also get some blue locktite.

you will need a longer bolt for the crank pulley if your u/d pulley doesnt come with one. it wouldnt hurt to get new arp cam retainer bolts also, they are like $7. Check out ls1howto.com they have a good step by step h/c swap "how to". and they have a list of pretty much everything you will need.

comp R lifters if your getting anywhere near .6" of lift like me with .581 just being safe on my head swap comp R lifters are on my list for sure.
In terms of H/C look at the order on www.ls1howto.com they do a good job, in other words go ahead and dissassemble for a cam swap and by the time you get there hopefully the heads will show up

If I Buy the U/D pulley used, can the bolt be re-used?
Why does everyone buy a new oil pump?
Is it just because they can? My oil pressure is fine.
thanks for the help guys.

No it can't be reused as the bolt is TTY (Torque to Yield).
Because u have to take off the oil pump to replace the timing chain. Might as well put a new one on while it's out. Timing cover gasket is reusable, but the front seal should be replaced...
