Default re-tune critical after IC install on STS kit?

I'm thinking about getting TRT's IC kit for my STS camaro. How critical will a retune be after the IC if I stay at the same psi. I know the charge density will increase because of the lower temps, but will this be outside of the PCMs ability to trim to desired AFR? Thanks!

sorry to be off topic but those are good #s for not having an IC. Hows the spool with that T67? How much boost can you make in 1st?

As far as the tune is concerned, with your IATs dropping, it can give you the chance to run more timing possibly and increase hp. A tune will likely give you the most out of the IC. Does synergy offer a retune option?

Does the car still have a MAF? Or are you sd tuned? Not sure if it matters yet, I'm still thinking about this.

i always get a re-tune through TRT when anything gets added or changed JUST IN CASE you could see more power somewhere in the powerband. i would do it if synergy offered free updates

It will need to be tuned. The cooler air charge will cause it to lean out.

The spool's not bad with the 67. probably starts around 2500, not full till 4000-4400 though. As for boost in first, I wanna say 4-5psi. I never keep look. Plus it feels like i just put the pedal to the floor and it's already time to shift! it's about 6psi in third, 5-5.5 in 2nd.

Thanks for the info guys, I knew it the charge would become more dense. Well, looks like I'll just wait, get the IC and tune for 8psi!

wrap your exhaust and check for leaks if it's really taking that long to reach full boost. I see it at 3200-3400 on mine depending on how hot the exhaust is when I get on it.

With the autp you re going to see a little less numbers than through the manual...

I would def, get a retune, because you can run 9-10 psi, and get another 40-60 hp.....

You would be crazy not to do it!
