Just checking to see if you had some pics of the clearancing needed on your valvecovers for the Jesels you have.
Thanks! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Heya Tony, any pics of Jesel clearancing?
My experience is that it's more radical than just "clearancing". All the internal baffling had to be removed, which resulted in a LOT of oil being drawn into the PCV system. I've done the mod using an air compressor filter, but I can fill the reservoir in 2-300 miles of even moderate driving. Plan B is an LS6 PCV setup and aftermarket valve covers without PCV fittings.

If someone has come up with a way to fit both the Jesel system and all that baffling in those skinny little valve covers, I'd like to see it.

External pcv baffling is completely acceptable, most race style engines require it.Fill cap can be converted to oil/baffle seperator also. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I'll snap some photos next weekend when I visit the shop. Basically, all of that sheetmetal must be removed, as well as those plastic parts on the inside. Then everything is grinded down smooth. I believe a few of those "bumps" from the coil pack mounting bolt areas also had to be smoothed a bit. Takes a good hour per cover to prep them.
