o2 sims are around 90 bucks, spend an extra 50 and get a mail order tune is my advice.

you need them both. the 12" for the passenger side and the 24" for the driverside. and yes front only. and i second the mail order tune.

you need emisions your going to need a cat and also it wont pass inspection it will fail the visual once they put it up on a rack. If you want to go with no cats then take air and egr out no need for it. Im not sure how obd2 works but I think you mite want to front o2s so it can adjust air fuel accordingly and just have the rear o2 burnt out.

You just remove your pcm and reinstall it. Takes about 5 min tops.

I don't know if this works on headers or not... But I know that with most applications, one can do the spark plug anti-fouler trick and you don't really NEED o2 Sim...

does that trick work in this scenario?

that being buy a set of anti-foulers, drill one of them hollow with a 3/8" drill bit, plug it into your 02 bung, screw the non-hollow one onto the hollow one(they come in sets of two) and then screw your o2 extension harness into the none hollow anti-fouler... I did this on my gtp when I went with a 3" downpip/highflow cat... and it cost me $3.99 as opposed to $90... Once I cleared the codes, they never came back, I was skeptical at first and asked "how in the hell will that work?"... went out on a limb, tried it, and i'll be damned if it didn't work...

of course you would need the o2 bungs to be there, which I don't know if they are...

the "ghetto sim" as its called...

and some pics I made when I did it:

(the drilled one -vs- the none drilled one)

the way the piece should look that is to be screwed into your o2 bung

the bottom view

as gay as that looks, if freakin works, I had a SES light for MONTHS, tried that and went over a year without it(before selling the car, it never came back on)

Will the car run right with an ORY with no rear O2's hooked up, until I get them tuned out?

yeah, no problems at all. you will get a code but thats it. they just monitor the cats efficiency. the fronts are the only ones you need. they monitor the air/fuel ratio
