Default Heat tape

Where is the best place to get some of this. Does it matter what kind you get? This is for my clutch line.

I think I went overboard with my setup. coolant heater hose, aluminum tape and a DEI spark plug wire fire boot.

Heater hose and aluminum tape should already make a big difference. Just make sure to get the portions that are exposed to the header. Right where it plugs into the transmission AND right after the heat shield as it goes to the master are the 2 spots it's exposed to heat.

They should have everything you need at a Home Depot or Lowe's. Just get some of the hose and heat tape mentioned above. The DEI spark plug wire fire boot was probably overkill, especially if you're already using a high temp fluid.

I don't remember. Just pull it and take it to the store and you'll have no trouble finding something that fits well over it. Maybe someone else will know the size.

Got mine at OReilly's. You can get it at most parts stores. I wrapped my whole line from the master to the tranny.

I split a peice of 3/8 fuel line and then wrapped it really good with Heat Tape. It worked out pretty good.
