Default Weight difference

Anyone know the weight difference between the iron and aluminum 6.0L blocks? Is it enough to affect vehicle handling?

75#'s, and it does not effect handling that much. The advaatage to the block far out weighs any negatives due to weight. You can also do a few thing to compensate if your that worried about it.

Interesting. My builder tells me when he weighs them it's 75. I like how it says customer perception for disadvantage. You mean soft metal is an advantage ? An aluminum propoganda chart, NICE!

I weighed mine and it was 92lbs difference, yes there is a difference in handling. I relocated battery to back, and with tubular frame, upper/lower A-arms, I was back to original.
The extra power and strength for big juice shots are appreciated though
