Default Bone Stock G8 GT - Tuned

Temps. were HOT to say the least so come cooler air should yield better results.

All numbers are SAE....and man does it feel good.

314.57 rwhp
334.26 rwhp

For dyno number reference, check out the latest issue of GMHTP with their GTO project. The 06 GTO project car with an intake, predator tune, UD pulley and new MAF meter put down 338.2hp & 324.1rwtq through an auto on this same dyno. It took a full exhaust including long tube headers, high flow cats and a catback to beat the G8's tq numbers.

Can't wait to hit the strip :driving:

Nice gains. We picked up a bunch with a tune on a G8 GT several months ago. Did you run 87 octane or 93?

Thanks. I saw your gains as well and they were very impressive. I think in some cooler air the gains would be even higher but I'm very happy with the results. I was surprised at the TQ numbers compared to the modded goat to say the least.

That's what it looks like according to the graph. Sounds like some one got a little excited when typing out thier dyno numbers. Congrats!

I'm looking to get a GXP when they come out for the wife. I hope I can get some decent numbers out of it with just a tune.
