Ls4 fuel rail mod for Ls1/6 Intake swap
Ok so I just picked up DavidGxp Ls1 intake. I went to jegs and picked up some -6 an fittings and 2 -6 an weld in steel fittings and hose. Here are some pictures before its all together. I will be taking it next week to get the fittings and mounts welded. Here's a list of the part numbers if anyone wants to do this. It cost me about $110 for all the fittings and hose and its gonna cost an HR. of labor for the welding so a grand total of about $200 ish to mod the rail. So about the same price for a Ls6/1 rail and injectors and injector adapter maybe a little less. I also picked up some 1/8" stainless steel plate to make the new mounts.

I see that you are going to try it again. I ended up going with a LS1 fuel rail and injectors. I have a LS4 fuel rail and injectors if anybody is interested

Update!!!
Ok so got it all welded up. Here are a few pictures I still have to put the fitting together I'm doing to do that tomorrow. Also these rails are super thin so they warp really easy with just a little heat just an FYI. One other thing one of the injectors sits a bit lower in the intake is this going to be an issue? Look at the first picture to see what I am talking.

looking good! try using the ls1/ls6 injector o rings for the manifold. They are different and fit the injector bores better. LS4 uses thicker o-rings and have larger injector bores.

Ok so I couldn't get the braided hose to work(too stiff). So I went with push lock got it to work a bit better but not sure if I like it. Might have to do somthing else here are some pictures. In these pictures does it look like the hose is kinked?

I did something similar
See pics. I cut apart an LS4 fuel rail and used brass npt and push lock fittings. I did not weld the fittings, but rather soldered them with special stainless steel flux. No warping of the rails and at least 700psi holding power. I am going to replace the push lock hose you see in photos with blue Aeroquipt hose as the black hose may not be siutable for gasoline. Most push lock hoses are not gasoline rated. They are intended for oils, and antifreeze. Make sure any push lock hose you use is rated for gasoline. Disregard the throttle body and harness shown, it is a failed attempt to adapt another 3 hole mounted throttle by wire TB for use in our ls4 cars. I have since made an aluminum adaptor to use the original TB.

Looking good Haulin. I just slapped it on since it was an experiment. You didn't really need to sand down the bottom since I already moddified the intake and tray.
Glade to see your pushing forward!
