On my first headss/cam package a few years back my exhaust consisted of Jet Hot LTs, catless Y pipe, and a Maganaflow catback. My cutout was placed before where the bend in the exhaust to go up over the rear axle is. I gained 7rwhp on the dyno with it uncapped, I don't remember the torque.

My brother had a 93 TA cammed/bolt-ons and it picked up 16rwhp over the catback he was running. I'll have to find out which CB he had on there, though. We were all shocked. It all depends on how well the catback flows. Over stock, you'll pickup enough to make it worth it if you like the sound. If you're running a Magnaflow or similar, you'll probably pick up a bit but not as much. It also depends on what's done to the motor and whether you're running LTs. If the motor doesn't need to push out that extra air, you're not going to see much of a gain.
