how come your going to have it installed rather then doing it yourself? if it were me id do it myself as soon as it gets there because it will sound better immediately and you will be able to reap the performance and sound from it immediately, then when you have the money get the LT's and ORY.

I say put on now. Its actually a pretty easy thing to do, you can do it yourself with basic hand tools. It took me about 30 minutes or so on ramps in the driveway. An exhaust shop should be able to do it in a matter of minutes while you wait, so go ahead and put it on.

if you want to put it on now then go ahead, it wont make it harder to deal with the headers later if thats what your worried about. but i agree, to save money and have the pride of sayin that you did it yourself, just do it your self lol. it is real easy so dont fret. good luck and let us know how you like it

Not a good idea to put it on if your going to go with headers... you will have to measure and cut the intermediate pipe to install it and if you get headers later with a different y-pipe, then everything will be sitting differently and you might have cut too much off if you install it now...

Also, I am questioning something myself. Isn't the TSP rumbler just like the original loudmouth? If I am correct in this assumption I don't think you will like the sound of that any more then the gutted cat and flowcrapper.

Just wait for the LT's and ORY. Noise is nothing without some power to back it up, and the LT's and ORY will free up a small amount of power. But remember take it where you can get it.

Yes I know the LT1 is restrictive.
