Default I cant figure it out!!

Well the other night i was on my way to dinner and decided to get on it one good time since i havent really had the chance to since the cam swap. I punched it from about 25mph and the tach read like 6900 (has to be wrong) hit the rev limiter really quick and shifted, after that i just drove normally the rest of the way. Well when i got back in the car i noticed it was idling a little rougher, on the way home i got up to about 45mph in lock up and slightly pressed on the gas and the car just shook. It was like a miss or a shudder, any time i come to a stop the idle drops down to about 500rpm and the surges back up. I got home and realized that a plug wire wasnt on all the way so i replaced the plug put the wire on but it didnt fix the problem. I have checked all the wire connections, vacuum hoses, plug wires and ends, and even made sure i didnt have a rocker come off.

I can smell gas when it idles and the idle surges about 300rpms just sitting still. Today when i took it out its starting to break up slightly throught the powerband and has powerloss. Im lost as of right now. Im thinking maybe the opti got wet, or maybe the opti dowel pin was too long and grenaded the opti. My uncle thinks it may be a bent push rod but there is no different valve terrain noise.

What do you guys think...i need to figure it out this week.

Thanks for the input, but EGR and AIR are both deleted. The vacuum port for the EGR is now hooked up to the vented opti (since i did the conversion). I even plugged the vacuum port for the HVAC and put new line for the FPR so i dont think its a vaccum problem. Im thinking its either and Ignition problem or a fuel issue. It's weird how it started out of no where. The plugs have a slight white residue on them but they still look good. Im lost!

There you go.. try and route the wires close to the Block, that way they don't get killed by the Headers. The plugs being white means it is running hot, and is a little lean. Try and richen it up a hair. I had the same problem, and it killed a Head Gasket in the old Engine..
