I just picked up a 93 Z28 with 114k on the clock. Seems bone stock, except for rims.
I plan on doing a few easy bolt-ons, already got some tires.....
quick questions:
I heard the 93 LT1 had different valve springs then the later years, anyone know for certain?
Is the UD pulley worth it, I heard on the ls1 it wasnt?
Shoud I wait for a new cam before I get 1.6RR's? Also, will they need new valve springs? If the 93 LT1 had different valve springs, will that matter?
I have the stuff I need for an LS1 lid swap (from a wrecked car), and intended on getting the usual exhaust mods....

someone can answer your valve spring question i not sure if the 93 have different springs. i would get rocker arms before and if you get a cam it would good to get better valve springs anyways. from what i heard underdrive pulley doesnt give you hp just makes your car not loose hp

Want pics of the Z?
hehe, I paid 2900 for it, so it aint all that pretty.....
another question:
I need to match the paint thats on the car, as the paint isn't that great on the rear bumper, and I dont want to shell out for a professional job just now......
Any way of doing that? The previous owner had the car painted a gunmetal gray, and didn't pass on the paint code.

Its a speed density car, intake is different, has a chip like older cars instead of a pcm that can be flashed.... I'm sure there will someone that'll chime in with more info. I am not sure about springs, I though they were the same...
