well you can get a set of production Afterburner headers, that usually require clearancing of the AC lines, and on occassion some primary tube bashing, and other clearancing issues.

This would be the part # from summit for the afterburners with ceramic coating (I wouldnt run a header without it) BIG-49100-1FLT

Now just remember that since those headers are not for the b-car they will come with no EGR or 02 sensor bungs. I believe you can call up Jet Hot and buy the afterburners from them and have them install the 02 bungs, but as for AIR and EGR forgettaboutit.

Heddman is supposed to be making some longtubes for the B-car LT1 (Roadmaster same thing as Caprice/Impala), but they're not out yet.

www.clearimageautomotive.com is the best place. They sell a few different styles of headers for the b-car. Their Quad1s, Try-ys, and their Budgets. Budgets have the best bang for the buck. A lot of us b-car guys run the try-ys.. They're not cheap though However you'll be hard pressed to find a set of headers of better quality.

The Clear Image budgets are currently probably the best value out there for this car. There are cheaper options like the Afterburns but by the time they are installed and things wrapped and such you do not save much and still have a thin cheap header.

I have the Clear Image Budgets and while they seem to be doing just fine I worry that the round ports blocking part of the heads d-port is hurting a motor like mine and I plan to continue making more power so by spring I want to get a d-port header in this car. If it were still the 13 second 20K a year car it was when I bought these headers I would stick with them but at this point I feel I have outgrown them. So do not mistake my intention to replace them as any sort of negative against them.

I have a set of B-Body 1 3/4 ceramic coated. The AIR ports are welded closed and will take $300 for them.
