300 dollars burning a hole in my hand
ok guys, I have 300 bucks and it is literally burning a hole in my pocket.
I dont know what to buy next.
I am think either to buy a Panhard bar and LCA or a Strut Tower Brace
I was thinking about getting the UMI single adjustable LCA and the Moly Tower Brace, and or maybe the Panhard bar, I dont know whether I should get the double adj. or single adj.
Or some Roller rockers from ebay
I have some CAT roller rockers for my Pontiac 400 and they are nice, well I talked to this guy I have done alot of business with on Ebay and he told me that CAT started making a 1.65 ratio Roller rocker for the LT1, its exactly like this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...052899827&rd=1
except 1.65 ratio. I posted a thread about this brand rockers a while ago but only a few had used the brand and nobody used the steel ones only aluminum.
Anyways should I keep saving or get this stuff?
Either that or I need to buy some coil springs and headers for my impala, GEEZ too much stuff to do so little money

Honestly, I'm going to have to say the PHB, I installed one a few weeks ago. I was shocked, I read it's not a big change or it only really helps for bumps. It's true but for how much more sturdy the car feels even rolling over pot holes, makes me wonder why GM didn't offer a better one stock.
I went with a UMI d/a bar for even more detail : https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes/662504-pan-hard-bar-install-review-praise.html. It's been worth every penny to me, car feels so much more fun to drive.

I would choose between the LCA's or rockers myself. The PHB isn't really worth it for a mod itself. And the STB is pointless on our cars.
The adj. rod ends on the LCAs will be a little noisy, so don't know if you want them or not. You could get the non adjustable ones and still buy the rocker arms. And STILL have some money left over.

Well I want the single adj LCA because eventually I plan on lowering the car. So I would like them, and I am gonna start autox with the TA so I know the adj will help in the corners.
We will see, I will probably end up getting the RRs for now, as for a 383 build, I am super far away from that option, probably 100K miles from needing a rebuild.
Anybody think I should change out the pushrods too or valve springs?

ok so I kinda decided what I will spend the money on
I am going to get the 1.65 rockers from CAT
along with that I am going to get some new valve springs
Either the Comp Cams with a rate of 403psi but a coil bind point of 1.195
or the Crane Cams with a rate of 391psi and a coil bind point of 1.080
I like the cranes because of they have the higher coil bind point.
Any suggestions, the cranes come in a kit from Summit so I like that, but I have used alot of Comp Cams stuff on my 68 bird and like their stuff.
Let me know
