Default Guys Running Cc503 Are Ya'll Running A 255lph Fuel Pump??

I was wondering if I had to run a 255lph with the CC503 because I just purchased the walbro 255lph from full throttle speed and the the racetronix wiring kit with the bgk upgrade.

Are you having problems withthe stock fuelpump? If not, theres no need. But if you had already purchased it, in a long run w/ future mods for more power such as turbo, blower or n2o, you'll be one step ahead. Is it just a cam your adding or heads aswell?

Way to many guys have had problems with the stock pump not keeping up, including myself. If you have it, put it in. One less thing to worry about.

hell, I hope you don't have to have a 255 walbro for a CC503! cuz I never put one in! lol

my car has a non-stock fuel pump (somebody cut the trap door out) but I think it's just a parts-store pump. feeds my 30 pounders at 78% just fine.

Almost every car Ive seen a new 255lph pump go in, the car picked up...if you plan on modding its one of the first things you should replace. Esp. with your setup heads, cam, inj, etc...really working that old fuel pump. Its a must have for modded car IMO.

Good luck!

My neighbor runs a CC503 and LPE heads with a stock pump....Hell, I also run the stock pump, but like others have said, if you have the new pump I'd use it...

I sprayed a 150 shot on the stock pump with a bigger cam. I did not have a problem with it going lean but at the same time I know I was borderlined. I put a 255lph pump in for insurance then jetted up the hit.

If you have the pump put it in but don't expeect to gain anything othe then safety for future upgrades.

You won't need it with the power levels you'll be reaching with that cam, but it's still an excellent mod nonetheless. If you decide to spray it now, you're all set. One less thing to worry about.

My stock pump couldn't feed my LE2 h/c setup, it was leaning out in the higher RPM's so a racetronix upgrade will be in order this spring.
