I have mine in the glovebox and drilled holes from the rightside of the glovebox and fed cooled air to it from the AC duct. Highly recommend the harness kit, I spliced mine just recently had problems with the box dropping the spark signal to the coil. Pretty frustrating, I had to disconnect the box in order for her to run so I could ship her to Hawaii.

I did not use an MSD but I noticed no gain when I added an Accel 300+, like one poster said above I have kept it because I like having a spark based rev limiter on the car.
MSD opti is vastly LESS reliable than stock, though some who made the mistake of buying it will swear by it even as they tell you how to completely rebuild it before you can use it.

i had the 6al and a nology coil, and i was all motor. i have always used and believed in factory AC Delco optisparks, and thats the whole unit, not just cap and rotor. get the vented style. if you got the nonvented now, you can get the vacuum harness, intake elbow, and fitting for the intake manifold. or get the harness, drill a hole in the hard rubber part of the elbow and tee into the fuel pressur regulator vacuum or AC vacuum.
