An ls6 intake cam on every 01-02 ls1 motor in the f-body. 98-00 had the LS1 intake. Pretty simple there.
Rear end... Generally if you have a M6, you should go with a 9". If you are an A4 you should be going with a 12 bolt unless you plan on making big hp.
If you are a street car only and don't do a lot of hard launches you will be fine the the 10 bolt(what's under your car now)
Check out the stickies. There's more info in there.

Here's some general rear info and some more info on the stock 10 bolt and how long it could last. Basically, the stock rear could last you deep into the 11's or it could break driving down the road, it's kind of hard to say and depends on the car/how it's driven. BlkBird had it dead on about upgrades (don't spend much on strenthening the 10 bolt) and that the auto is nicer on it.

As for the rear, dont bother upgrading the 10 bolt. Gears are the most I would do, otherwise start saving for a 12 bolt or 9".

What trans do you have?
I would not worry about the rear at all, if you have an auto. Unless you plan to drag race exclusively with the car, or intend to make serious power.
All the weak rear end comments usually come from the M6 guys. It takes a great deal of effort to break a 10-bolt with an A4 in my experiance.
