Default T-Top F-body curb weight

Someone claims that t-top fbodys weigh 3600lbs+, and I think they weigh closer to 34XXlbs. Which is it?

Thanks.

OH yeah this person claims an LS1 04 GTO weighs within a hundred pounds of an fbody and they perform close to each other..

Since we are on the topic of weight... I was told the Mustang weighs a lot more. Is this true. Like is there really that big of a difference?

I hear the new mustangs are about the same or a little more, the 03-04 cobras are a little heavier. But a fox body is quite a bit lighter.

My car with a full tank was 3520# without me in it, friends Formula was 3540# with 3/4 tank without driver. I think that is more along the lines of the average F-body with T-tops and all options. My other friends TA hard top, stripper (man. seats, power windows not sure how you get that option) weighs 3350# with 1/4 tank of gas.

This gets asked at least once a month, then everybody tells you how much their car weighs. Here's a post I made about it: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ghlight=weight

I asked her how accurate the scales would be, and she says it goes in increments of 20 lbs. and was just tested by the state.
You've been on here since '05; do a search before asking any questions. Also, this info is in a sticky somewhere around here.
