Default Max effort build intake

Looking to max effort 347 build for 300 shot. My intake options are FAST 102 with a direct port and plate system doing a dual stage 100 and 200 or a VIC Jr with 4150 tb with a plate setup on it. The heads are AI 218cc high compression heads and forged bottom end. Cam will be custom tailored

I would just run a direct port on 300 with a progressor. Either way would work but running a plate and direct port combo is going to be more expensive. If you have any tech or pricing questions, send me a PM! High compression works great with nitrous, just narrows your tuning window/margin of error and you'll probably have to run around on race fuel, depending on how high of a C/R you have.

For a 300 hit, yes. You will get better cylinder to cylinder distribution at higher horsepower levels. Having a progressor and a direct port is just like having a dual stage, less cost involved and you get more "fine" tunability. ^^

Here's a rough breakdown of both setups. Prices vary depending on options of course.

EFI Victor-$409.99
4150 TB-$529.99
Puck Installed into intake(Flows 400HP)-$350
System side of Puck Hardlined with a 10lb bottle-$584.99
Solenoids forward 4150 Stinger(flows 500HP)-$749.99
Misc. Fittings to put 2 stages together-around $100-150.

Fast 102(Not including TB or fuel rails)- 913.97
4-Solenoid Direct Port System w/Rails and 10lb bottle-$1149.99+options like hard-lined purge and fuel supply
Labor-Starting at $450 depending on options.

As you can see there isn't that big of a difference in price. Add a throttle body to the 102 setup and you're higher than the Puck/Stinger setup. In all honesty, you could get by running just the Stinger or just the Puck for what you're wanting to do. We've got customers on both going really fast. Just some food for thought.

A max effort intake would be a custom fab sheet metal with specific runner length and taper for your application.
