Default a good read on valvesprings........

https://ls1tech.com/forums/advanced-engineering-tech/394940-those-who-want-big-nasty-cams-lots-lift-etc.html

Speed Engineering has a great buy on 918's and titanium retainers right now. Shipped for under three honeybees.

I like how they get progressively stiffer as they get to max lift and the springs compress on themselves. Pretty cool stuff.

That advanced tech forum kicks ***!

Yikes, that sounds like a major pita. You are gonna take the head off to do the drilling if they are already on? yes?

Absolutely! Don & I were looking at it last night debating whether my drill jig was good enough or if we should try to use the forklift to put the motor into his drill press. But it turns out there is more to this issue than drilling 1 hole. The worst part is there is no provision for the 3rd hole, so you can't triangulate the blower bracket for stability. So for the moment, the project sits idle whilst we ponder.....

well thats no effin good. damn man. you need that triagulation, as you are undoubtedly aware. I tried an alternator mount one time that only had two mounts, tossed belts constantly. Went back to stock the stock bracketry real quick.

Any way to tie it into the waterpump bolts?

Just throwing some **** out there.

If memory serves it mounts where the mid 60's chebbys had their power steering pumps, lower drivers side?

This is just an Iron block issue?

Yes, it's down where the old school ps pumps mount. We were looking at the water pump, the ps pump, a tab on the side, **** even a sky hook sounds good right now.

I have posted in a couple threads, & I am pm-ing some of the sponsors to see if anyone has solved this yet. No help so far. I'm surprised I seem to be the first one to find this. I need to get Ellis over there to add his s/c experience to Dons machining skills & my ability to cobble anything. Might need a bong-hit for this one.....
