Default Need Help With Security

Ok I did some searching and didnt find anything with the same set-up i got. My VATS has been deleted from my PCM with HP Tuners. But when i get in my car sometimes and try to start it, the security light pops up and stays on for 3 mins untill i can start it. It has gotten to the point now to where it is every other time i get in it......

I have also heard that there is a relay somewhere behind the passenger kick panel under the glove box, and that was my problem....??

Not familiar with HPT but VATS is in the BCM too, thinking HPT settings only apply to fuel shut off portion? If the security light is coming on VATS isn't completely deleted. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep thats what i was thinking, but the key is only like a year old, so i think its the contacts on the cly. Is there a way to bypass that?

Solder in a resistor into your ignition that matches the key.

Alright guys/gals. This is what i just did to fix mine. All i did was take the starter ignition relay out and jumped it with a wire. Cranked right up without a problem. The security light flashed while the car is running though.

oh ok. Then your PCM is shutting the fuel off. Can you here your fuel pump prime when you turn the key over?

i wasnt thinking right when i wired in the resistors. instead of making them a complete circuit together, i was just making 2 parallels. my dumbass mistake there.
