Question VE table

Have car tuned SD. Need to know which VE table is being used; the primary or the secondary. Or may be even better can you tell me under what conditions is each primary or secondary VE table used. Another words which one needs to be changed to affect tune. Thanks Bill

Typically when the maf fails it will fail to the secondary VE table when the vehicles pcm is equipped with a secondary VE table.

The car is a 1998 Z-28. Have the Maf turned off and removed from the car. Tuning with HP tuners. Have the car running pretty well. But just want to tweek it alittle more. Was always copying primary to secondary VE table. Was just wondering which Table car is running off of. Would save some time making changes if I knew which one affects tune.
