98-02 Firebird TA Complete LED Fog Light Housings - It's Coming
Perhaps this image is appropriate?
After months of failed attempts to locate a fabrication shop to build us a pair of brackets for the 98-02 Trans Am LED fog light project....we finally made it happen. The 1st test pair are on their way and we will be scheduling an install with a local client to make certain these are ready for production.
Once we confirm everything fits/works as intended, we will launch the product with a Group Purchase.
For those not aware of the above, we are going to use a complete 4.5" LED projector housing (not a drop in lamp setup). This will all be completely plug-n-play and require no modification to the vehicle. The brackets will be made in the USA! Below is a pic of the LED fog lights.

Awesome news. I have had an HID kit in my fogs that you actually recommended for me. I was on the original GP of your low beam projectors and they still are one of my favorite mods. Now that I think of it, what was that about 5 years ago now? I'll keep an eye out for this!

Those look like the F150 ones I used and made brackets. I wonder how your brackets will look.
For those interested, this is how they look mounted:

Glad to hear there is some good interest. Our goal is to keep the price down as much as possible considering these are fog lights. We realize the lower the price, the more we can potentially sell. TRS sells the fogs for $170 a pair. We will be able to discount those a bit for the GP and even more if we can reach 10+ orders. The brackets will be cut from a water jet and then fabricated to spec. Stainless steel 1/8" will be used since these need to be rigid. We are targeting an all-in price of $250 or less for everything, plug-n-play.
We will see how the 98-02 TA fog sales go. The 93-97 TA bracket is simply a bit longer than the 98-02. It's not an issue of being able to make a bracket for them but more so the cost in doing in. Lower volume, higher cost, less customers.
See above.
The design is rather intricate since this won't be a stamped piece of metal like the factory bracket. The trickiest part of the design was the adjustment since these are the F150 LED fogs. As you know, the only similarity of the OEM and this fog is the diameter of the housing. The fabrication shop we are working with does excellent work so I'm confident these will look great and function just the same. Thankfully adjustment is usually one and done for most folks. We spoke with TRS about making a Firebird/TA specific fog light but as you can imagine, the volume/market for them simply isn't there.
The bracket will be a one-piece design so the install is intended to be just the same as factory with a different point of adjustment.
We are very excited to bring this product to the market and will surely provide teaser shots of the look and output once we get them in hand and on a car.

We received the pre-production brackets in yesterday. We are talking with a local TA owner to schedule the install for test fitment. Hopefully we will be able to get this done in the next couple weeks. If everything looks good, we will certainly throw up some teaser pics.
