So a friend of mine just recently picked up a 05 midnight blue GTO M6 w/ only 12k on her. He didn't want to run me but he changed his mind after some **** talking. I have lpp lt/y/mangaflow,ls6 intake and slp lid.

We only got in one good run from 25-70 and I pulled about 1.5-2 cars. Overall i was very happy considering a had an extra passenger and the t tops off. He said he was keeping it stock but I think I changed his mind.

congrats on the win!!!! my son had a 99 ta and i could walk all over him when we were both stock.

thanks but I just talked to him and he said he hit it in 2nd gear that run. He didn't know that he should be in first.lol Maybe the outcome will be closer next time.

LOL then your GTO opponents suck at driving.

A LS1 f body should have no problem with a LS1 GTO. A LS2 GTO and an LS1 f body should be a drivers race with the dig advantage to the SRA and the top end to the LS2.

wow that makes me feel good for putting and holding my buddy's 6.0 gto at my rear bumper from our run (60-90). im sure he would of reeled me in at some point tho..until he hit his limiter(155 right?)

Naw stock LS1 vs. LS2 Goat, maybe a drivers race....in all my 4 or 5 experiences ive walked goats every time from a dig, at the track 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, roll, never really gave me much of a problem even when i was near stock, well more near stock then i am right now, which is basically stock lol. If the LS1 has a pos driver than the goat could proly pull him.

I have both a M6 TA and auto 06 Goat. TA only has lid and a corsa. It pulls the gto a half car through the 1st four gears. Ask me how I know, of course dad was driving the goat and is about 80lbs heavier. Anyway, the flip side is a M6 ls2 gto vs an a4 f-body, the gto would win with good driving. I agree that if the gto would have been in first you would not win. I wish my gto was a stick, but the wife can't drive one.

i think this guy is dead on, i have raced both ls1 and ls2 gto's and havent had a problem with either. damn sometimes i do wish i had gotten the GTO i was looking at, slower or not, they ****** ride so much nicer.

I agree. I have raced against numerous ls1 gto's and know that his ls2 makes up for the weight difference and some.... I'll update once we get a better race, he is still getting used to the car. He has the advantage of roll racing with the m6.

Ive owned all 3 cars, LT1 f body, LS1 f body and LS2 GTO. LS1 f bod and LS2 GTO are drivers races with a LT1 f bod slightly behind.
