Default Relocation Brackets with Strange 12 bolt

I bought some Bolt-On BMR Fabrication Control Arm Relocation Brackets. Will they work with my Strange 12 bolt?

Edelbrock Torque Arm (Nonadjustable)
BMR Boxed Subframe Connectors

Yes I believe they are the same as a 10 bolt. The ones for Moser are slightly different IIRC. BMR's website should tell you.

They may. We usually only recommend the bolt on brackets for stock 10-bolt rears. However, the only variable is how the shock mounting location is positioned in relation to lower control arm mounting point. If it is in the same relation as the 10-bolt mounts then yes they will. I would test fit one and see. You just need to see if that mounting tab will line up with the shock mount hole when it is bolted in the original LCA hole.

Since BMR wasn't any help I found it. Mine are Spohn, and that's where the designation for the difference of Moser was. Since Strange uses the original bracket molds from AAM (the original manufacturer for GM of stock 10 bolt rear ends), its safe to say yes it absolutely should work without issue. See here for the difference in brackets.

Yeah, I would have thought the Strange would be the truest bolt in of any rearend... as they use the axle tube template from the AAM 10-bolt. So anything designed for the stock rearend will work flawlessly on the Strange.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'll post if it really works when the snow melts up here in MN and I can get my WS6 out of storage.

Yes they will help forward traction by moving your instant center and planting the tires harder.

It is hard for me to give a definite answer since there are so many variables involved in aftermarket rear ends. they usually don't have the consistency that factory rear ends have, and depending on options ordered with the rear it may affect the fitment of parts designed to be "bolt on" to a stock rear. This is from experience and other people ordering these brackets with their "direct fit" rear ends only to find out the shock mounting location is 1/2" different than factory thusly making the brackets not work. This difference would be impossible to tell unless the bracket was put in place and it was noticed not to line up. We say that these brackets are designed to work with MOST available rear ends, but for aftermarket rears we usually just recommend the weld in brackets
