Adding spring spacer to sportline front springs?
I have sportlines on my car. I really like the pro-kit, but don't want to buy a whole nother kit. I love the rear height, but the front drop is a bit too low for me. I just talked to Eibach and they can't sell me front pro-kit springs, and he recommended some spring spacers.. I'm guessing a .5" spring spacer would make it look like the pro-kit. What kind of spacer do you recommend?

u could try the heater hose thing. they use heater hose to lower the rear a half inch some times by taking out the isolater? (rubber on top of the spring) which is very thick and replace it with heater hose. lowering the rear a half inch.

The sportline kit is one of the worst springs on the market. lower than the prokit on the front, but with a lower spring rate... terrible design. If i were you, I would deal with what you have for now, save up, and get some new springs and some revalved bilsteins or Konis. Those springs are crap man, your car deserves better.

if i were you, i'd get the Strano springs and Koni shocks....i just got mine installed a week ago, and love it.....check out my thread about it here (pics are toward the bottom of the thread).
it's low enough to get rid of a good portion of the gap, not too low to cause much problem with ground clearance, and have a MUCH better rate on the springs for handling than the pro-kit or sportlines

Ok, I like the Strano's, but I think I want to find a shock that's a little bit cheaper. Something reliable, good for daily driving, and fun in the corners. I don't need a TOP-end shock.. I'm looking at KYB or Monroe, better than OEM i'm sure.

For around $700 the Konis are a bargain, those shocks alone did more to my car than the springs and swaybars combined. Not only did the car have more overall grip, the balance and feel was really improved, on top of that the ride was actually better.
If you get some of the cheapo shocks you named off, not only will they not be able to damper any lowering spring, they will eventually wear out and you will have to spend more money to replace them. Do it right the first time, buy Konis you will not regret it. I rather have Koni's on stock springs, than some cheap/ shock on good springs, you will have more control.
