Default how did you fix your bad head ground....

Hey guy. I was wondering how y'all fixed ur bad head ground from the back of the driver side head . I got the usal crank but no start. It ened up being the head grounds. I guess the got brittle and the connector broke off so I spliced new wires in it and made sure they made good contacted with the head with a continuity checker . But still crank but no start. So I hooked up my obd2 too see if any codes show and the cars starts right up gagues work as the should I don't even have to have the scanner hooked up just the connector that plugs into the obd2. So I know my PCM is fine Im guessing its just a bad ground from the PCM to the head . I looked a the obd2 pin out and there two grounds chassis ground and signal ground. So I guessing the chassis ground gives ground to the signal ground with gives it to ground to the PCM. Does any body know witch pin out is the two ground that go to the back of the head on the driver side .So I can check them at the pcm and maybe splice the end ground them some where else . Thanks in advance for any help .

Mine has been ok and I had to splice a new wire as mentioned. Make sure your ignition relay isn't bad and swap it with the fan relay and see if it tries to start.

These cars can be picky and no start issues can be from sensors only going partially bad. What was it doing right before you had the no start issue?

The gauges would read wrong. everytime I hit a bump gauges would go all crazy and sometimes turn the car .

Yeah it ended up being one of my grounds broke off there are three in total 2 small and one medium size wire. But the medium size one is really short, so you can over look it if your not paying good attention cause its wrapped in electrical tape.
