The Z28 Camaro has come a long way lightyears ahead. The most recent iteration is one of the best and most capable track machines for less than $80,000 period. The old models might not perform nearly as well, but, if you truly appreciate the Camaro and its history (you have to really love cars to love ’80s cars), then it’s worth considering this 1984 Z28 that has less miles than some of the 2015 Z/28s running around.

This one-owner 5-speed manual Camaro only has 7,403 miles on the dash, and it’s currently listed at a buy-it-now price of $16,900. The owner says the only reasons he’s selling is due to a real estate purchase, but if that deal falls through, he’s going to keep it.

The car has spent its entire life in Oregon, and according to the listing has never seen rain. That’s absolutely absurd for a northwestern vehicle. It has all the original paperwork, all the original parts (aside from a battery), and it’s been stored on a four-post lift under a car cover. The guy even drained all the gas and oil from it every six months just to keep it fresh. That’s the type of guy you want to buy a car from.
