A Cool Pontiac Fiero? But How?

Fiero

The Pontiac Fiero isn’t exactly a universally loved car. In fact, most people pan the little mid-engine coupe. It’s small, under-powered, and is often used to create terrible abominations such as fake Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and other weird contraptions.

Enthusiasts rarely use the little car as well due to the poor build quality. It takes a certain type of person to buck that trend and deliver a Fiero that’s truly covetable. And that’s exactly what we have for you today.

This Fiero isn’t a fake Ferrari or Lamborghini, it stays within the GM family. The engine has been ripped out and swapped for a turbocharged LSX V8 that still resides in the middle of the car.

Unlike many other turbo LSX builds, this one didn’t go bonkers and slap 1,000 horsepower into the pint sized Fiero, but rather just went with around 560 horsepower to the wheels. Which might as well be 1,000 horsepower because that’s what it will feel like.

The video is from the Fiero’s first outing and sounds awesome and looks properly fast. Check it out below.
