A.I.-Rendered Cadillac ‘CT-V Coupe’ Is Astonishing & Inpsiring
CarScoops‘ Cadillac ‘CT-V Coupe’ rendering could certainly change minds about iffy styling plaguing GM’s luxury brand.
Cadillac could use a new coupe. Their ATS-V was, in our opinion, an absolute hit. But right now? You can only get a Caddy with 4-doors or more. But it doesn’t need to be that way. What if GM did a little platform sharing and gave Cadillac one last hurrah with the current Camaro platform? Well the result is this rendering that we found on CarScoops (view here).
Dubbed the ‘CT-V Coupe,’ this rendering takes the silhouette of the sixth-generation Camaro, and drapes current Cadillac styling cues over those muscle car bones. But this wasn’t done by a human. This is all AI generated. How can you tell? Take a close look at some of the Cadillac badges and you’ll see they look close to the real thing, but aren’t quite it. Details that any render artist wouldn’t miss.
Either way, the look has a few approaches. There’s a photorealistic exterior front, similar photorealistic interior, and “artist sketch” rear 3/4 view. The front is the most striking, with a black and bronze look. Though you can see a little “Camaro” in it, the vertical lighting plays into the lines surprisingly well. On the inside, the interior is farmore Cadillac than it is Camaro. Cadillac’s center screen/console is used, along with premium surface coverings. A little further arrears, the waistline takes on more of a CT5 profile, with a slight kick up towards the c-pillar. The lower rendering has a more “Cadillac” rear end, but we’re not so sure about the octupled exhaust ports.
For those who think using AI is a bit sacrilege, consider this; multiple renders can be made quickly. That means small differences can be compared quickly with newer car designs. Would it replace designers? Not exactly. The designers and engineers still have to work together if they were to make a car like this CT-V Coupe render.
Now the big question. We already have the Cadillac Lyric, so what would this one be named? Something else related to Music? “CT-V Treble”? Maybe it’ll set a “♩” mile time? Get it? Sorry, we had to.
